The panels of the patented Wetwall water-proof wall panel system are constructed of High Pressure Decorative Laminates that are bonded with a water-proof adhesive on a homogenous, lightweight, water­-proof core composed of cellulosic materials, glass fibers, polypropylene and a bonding agent; the result is a durable, water-proof and dimensionally stable panel system. The panels can feature a flat edge, tongue-and-groove edge, or a decorative bullnose edge. They can be installed in the field and do not require any special or dedicated tooling. It takes an average of 2.5 hours to complete a tub/shower surround.

Acceptable installation substrates include regular gypsum board, moisture-resistant gypsum board (“greenboard”), cement backer board, plaster, and existing hard tile.

Panel width is approximately 11mm or 0.43 inches.  The common panel sizes for wet applications are 30”, 32”, 34”, 36” X 60”, 72” and 96.”
